Pune-Ernakulam superfast train start from Sunday

The Ernakulam-Pune-Ernakulam (2519/2520) bi-weekly superfast express which will cover the distance in 24 hours and 15 minutes is expected to reduce travel time by at least five hours and 35 minutes.The train's maiden run will be flagged off from Ernakulam on Saturday, while the train from Pune to Ernakulam will run on Sunday.

The Pune-Ernakulam (2520) train will run every Wednesday and Sunday at 6.45 pm, and will reach the destination on Thursday and Monday at 7 pm respectively. The Ernakulam-Pune (2519) train will run every Friday and Tuesday at 5.15 am and will reach Pune station on Saturday and Wednesday at 5.50 am respectively.The train will have 17 coaches, including one two-tier AC and three-tier AC, seven sleeper, six unreserved and two SLR coaches.
