RAINS DISRUPT KONKAN RAILWAY SERVICES



Due to continuous unprecedented torrential heavy rainfall in Konkan Region particularly between Ratnagiri and Nivsar, the train services on Konkan Railway Route have got disrupted and the retaining wall to prevent landslides has collapsed at Km 209/0-1 at Pomendi Cutting in Ratnagiri Nivsar Section of Konkan Railway at 04:05 Hours of 17th June 2011.
As a Precautionary Safety Measure, Konkan Railway has been compelled to Terminate / Divert / Cancel / Transship the following train services:
Transshipment between Ratnagiri & Adavali Stations:
01. 16333 Veraval – Trivandrum Express of 16/006/2011 with 12617 Ernakulam – Nizamuddin of 16/06/2011.
02. Empty rake with 02133 CSTM – Mangalore Junction of 16/06/2011 and 50105 DIVA-Sawantwadi Passenger on 17/06/2011.
03. 10111 CSTM – Madgaon Express on 16/06/2011 & 01013 Dadar –Sawantwadi of 16/06/2011 with 10104 Madgaon – CSTM Express of 17/06/2011.
04. 16346 Trivandrum – LTT Express of 16/06/2011with 16345 LTT –Trivandrum Express of 17/06/2011.
05. 12051 CSTM – Madgaon Express of 17/06/2011with 12052 Madgaon –CSTM Express of 17/06/2011.
Cancellation:
01.             50108 /5016 Madgaon-Sawantwadi-Diva Passenger on 17/06/2011.
02.             12619/12620 Mangalore-LTT leaving LTT & Mangalore on 17/06/2011
03.              50107 Sawantwadi-Madgaon Passenger on 17/06/2011

Diversion:
01.             12202 Kochuveli -LTT Garib Rath of 16/06/11 via Madgaon-Londa-Miraj.

03.             12287 of Kochuveli-Dehradun of 17/06/11 via Madgaon-Londa-Miraj.
04.             12618 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala of 16/06/11 via Kalyan-Pune.
05.             12519 Ernakulam-Pune of 17/06/11 via Madgaon-Londa-Miraj.

01.             50105 Diva-Sawantwadi-Madgaon of 17/06/11 at Ratnagiri.
02.             10103 CSTM-Madgaon of 17/06/11 at Diva.
