Special train between Mysore and Bangalore


South Western Railway will run a special train for a month between Mysore and Bangalore from December 1.

A press release here said that the special train (Train No. 06221) will have 31 trips in each direction and will leave Mysore daily at 9.15 a.m. and reach Bangalore at 1.10 p.m.

 En route , the train will arrive at Pandavapura at 9.37 a.m. and leave at 9.38 a.m.; Mandya 10.03 a.m./10.05 a.m.; Maddur 10.15 a.m./10.17 a.m.; Chennapatna 10.38 a.m./10.40 a.m.; Ramanagaram 10.54 a.m./10.56 a.m.; Bidadi 11.14 a.m./11.15 a.m.; and arrive at Kengeri at 11.50 a.m. and leave at 11.52 a.m. In the return direction, Train No. 06222 Banglaore City-Mysore Express will leave Bangalore at 1.40 p.m. and reach Mysore at 5 p.m.

The train will arrive at Kengeri at 1.58 p.m. and leave at 2.p.m.; Bidadi 2.15 p.m./2.16 p.m.; Ramanagaram 2.32 p.m./2.34 p.m.; Chennapatna 2.45 p.m./2.47 p.m.; Maddur 3.05 p.m./3.07 p.m.; Mandya 3.27 p.m./3.29 p.m.; and arrive at Pandavapura at 3.55 a.m. and leave at 3.56 p.m.

The special train rake has 23 coaches, consisting of two AC 2-tier coaches, two AC 3-tier coaches, 14 second class sleepers, three general second class and two second class luggage-cum-brake vans, the press release added.
