SCR runs the first ever Janatha Special

Keeping in view the general summer rush of passengers and especially in the light of anticipated passenger demand in the coming days, South Central Railway has taken an initiative to run a special express train - Janatha Special, between Hyderabad and Kakinada consisting of o­nly unreserved second class coaches o­n an experimental basis.

             This service is mainly aimed at general second class passengers and those passengers who could not secure reservation and are ready to travel in unreserved coaches.This service will also be helpful in reducing the pressure o­n the general coaches of the regular trains in this route.This Janatha Special is designed to provide an affordable overnight travel facility with convenient timings in the busy route of Hyderabad-Kazipet-Khammam- Vijayawada-Rajahmundry-Kakinada. This train is provided limited halts (10 o­nly) and covers a distance of 574 kms. in 10 hrs. 35 minutes.The fare between Hyderabad and Kakinada by this train is Rs.145/-.

             This first everJanatha Special service with Train No. 07101 will leave Hyderabad at 22:50 hrs. tomorrow ie. 25th May, 2013 and will arrive Kakinada Town at 09:25 hrs. the next day.In the return direction, Train No. 07102 will leave Kakinada Town at 19:15 hrs. o­n 26th May, 2013 and will arrive Hyderabadat 05:50 hrs. the next day.

              Enroute, this train willstop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru,Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations in both the directions.

             The train will comprise of 14 general second class and 2 second class luggage cum brake van coaches totalling to 16 coaches.

             Passengers are requested to avail the service of this special express train with all unreserved second class coaches
