In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity of trains, the Railway has decided to augment the train nos.12033/34 New Delhi- Kanpur Central - New Delhi Shatabdi Express and the 15667/15668 Kamakhya-Gandhidham Kamakhya Weekly Express from both directions as per the following programme:-
Temporary Augmentation:
The train nos.12033/34 New Delhi- Kanpur Central - New Delhi Shatabdi Express has been provided with one additional Chair Car coach with immediate effect upto 09.12.13 from both directions.
Permanent Augmentation:
The 15667/15668 Kamakhya-Gandhidham Weekly Express shall be provided with two additional sleeper and one second class coaches with effect from 11/12/2013 when departing from Kamakhya ( the second class coach shall however be provided to the 15667 Kamakhya-Gandhidham Weekly Express from 12.02.2014) and from 14/12/2013 when departing from Gandhidham.
